The Eicherly Scholarship

Background:
The Eicherly Scholarship was named after the former ATA Office Manager, Pat Eicherly and her husband Jack. She worked diligently with ATA for fifteen years until her passing in 2003, due to cancer. This scholarship is designed to aid graduating seniors of ATA members. ATA provides $2,500.00 per year to this fund, taken from membership dues, and dozens of young adults have benefited from this worthy scholarship.

2020 Application Process:
Applications for the scholarship are distributed in March of each school year, by school site representatives. Applicants must complete a questionnaire and write an essay stating their eligibility through past accomplishments and goals for the future. These applications are returned to the Site Representatives. Then, the Eicherly Scholarship Committee reviews the applications and essays as a whole.

Award amounts are contingent upon the number of applications received. Finally, winners and their respective Eicherly Scholarship amounts are awarded!
