The bargaining team represents the ATA membership in all matters of contract negotiations, including but not limited to compensation. The team meets throughout the year with representatives of the Arcadia Unified School District to deal with issues brought to the table by either side.

We are pursuing an Interest Based Bargaining approach that works to build and maintain positive, trusting relationships between the association and the district. This hasn't always worked as well as it could or should, so the Bargaining Team and the District have undergone extensive training and will continue to work on developing a proper and positive IBB process.

The Bargaining Team is lead by an appointed chair, which serves a two year term, and consists of two high school reps, one middle school rep and 2 elementary school reps. They are guided by the Executive Board. The Bargaining Chair sits on Exec Board and the ATA President is an observing member of the Bargaining Team.
